This was a Type Specimen I created for Garamond Premier Pro with a J.R.R Tolkien theme as inspiration. The artwork used was all taken from a selection of Tolkien’s original artwork and the type was presented using quotes made by Tolkien himself. I felt that this theme would work well to display this particular font due to its classic serif style. Garamond is a beautiful font that is based on traditional styling. The beautiful words of Tolkien help to accentuate the font’s features and demonstrates the fonts potential.
